Milestone appears in some shops as a YSL Y dupe. The fragrance it actually chases — and the one almost every reviewer names — is Creed's Millésime Impérial: fruit, sea salt and soft woods.
Against that it does very well. One long-time collector put it at 90–95% of the Creed, slightly soapier and more lemony, missing a little of the salty base and iris. Another praised it for getting the melon-and-salt balance right where most copies don't.
Not everyone is convinced — one owner of both loves the Creed and dislikes this — and the opening can feel sharp for a few minutes. But for a summer bottle at this price, it is hard to beat.
