Qahwa is sold against Angels' Share, but it's best understood as a variation on Khamrah: the same warm, spiced base, steered towards coffee and cardamom instead of dates.
That twist takes it a step further from Angels' Share, not closer. Angels' Share is cognac, oak and hazelnut; Qahwa is a café — roasted, spiced, sweet. If Khamrah was the dessert, this is the coffee after it.
None of that is a criticism. It's a lovely, cosy gourmand in its own right, and for people who find Khamrah cloying, the bitterness of the coffee is exactly what makes it wearable.
