It arrives on peach, citruses, green mandarin, black pepper and anise — bright, immediate, gone before you have decided about it. Underneath, heliotrope, nutmeg and ginger settle in and take over. The base is caramel, vanilla, benzoin, amber, labdanum and musk. That is the bit on your scarf the next morning.
