Nutmeg, cinnamon, saffron and tobacco hit first, the way an opening line should. Then the heart turns up — patchouli, cedarwood and vetiver — and the whole thing slows down. By evening it is amber, leather, guaiacum wood, sandalwood, tonka bean and vanilla, and it is better for it.
