Grassland

How it moves

It arrives on mint, apple, bergamot and pomelo — bright, immediate, gone before you have decided about it. Then the heart turns up — lavender, geranium and petitgrain — and the whole thing slows down. The base is ambergris, sandalwood, moss, patchouli and vanilla. That is the bit on your scarf the next morning.
