How it moves

It arrives on lemon and red apple — bright, immediate, gone before you have decided about it. Then the heart turns up — sichuan pepper, clary sage and lavender — and the whole thing slows down. It dries down to vetiver, cedar and patchouli, close to the skin and hard to forget.
