How it moves

It arrives on violet, cumin, angelica and carrot seeds — bright, immediate, gone before you have decided about it. Then the heart turns up — agarwood oud, nutmeg, iris, incense and pimento — and the whole thing slows down. It dries down to agarwood oud, amber, leather, labdanum and musk, close to the skin and hard to forget.
