How it moves
It arrives on cardamom and bergamot — bright, immediate, gone before you have decided about it. Then the heart turns up — sandalwood and cedar — and the whole thing slows down. It dries down to sandalwood, amber, musk and benzoin, close to the skin and hard to forget.
Who made it
Francis Kurkdjian composed it in 2022, for Dior in France. Kurkdjian's dark sandalwood for La Collection Privée, pairing creamy santal with smoky, resinous facets.
