Picture old wood warmed by the sun. That is the first ten seconds of Dusita Pavillon d'Or.
How it moves
The first breath is yuzu and green tea, and it is loud about it. The middle belongs to osmanthus and jasmine. By evening it is sandalwood, cedar and musk, and it is better for it.
Who made it
Pissara Umavijani composed it in 2022, for Dusita in Thailand. Inspired by Kyoto's Golden Pavilion, a tea-and-woods composition with Japanese restraint.
