Hope

Frédéric Malle Hope begins with juniper and pink pepper, and does not apologise for either.

How it moves

It arrives on juniper and pink pepper — bright, immediate, gone before you have decided about it. Oud, smoke and vetiver are where it actually lives. By evening it is amber and leather, and it is better for it.
