How it moves

It arrives on aldehydes, mint, lemon, bergamot and raspberry — bright, immediate, gone before you have decided about it. Then the heart turns up — rose, magnolia, water lily and hyacinth — and the whole thing slows down. It dries down to vanilla, musk, amber, sandalwood and cedar, close to the skin and hard to forget.
