How it moves

Black pepper, pink pepper and saffron hit first, the way an opening line should. Then the heart turns up — labdanum, cade oil, gurjan balsam and rhubarb — and the whole thing slows down. It dries down to leather, cedar, patchouli, guaiac wood, musk and moss, close to the skin and hard to forget.
