How it moves
Up top: citron, orange, lemon, mint, black currant and coriander. Enjoy them; they will not stay. By the half hour it has become apricot, basil, carrot seeds and may rose. The base is fig, dates and ambrette. That is the bit on your scarf the next morning.
Who made it
Jacques Cavallier Belletrud composed it in 2023, for Louis Vuitton in France. Pacific Chill was pitched as a wellness fragrance, a cold-pressed juice in scent form. Cavallier Belletrud used carrot seed and basil against fig and dates for an unusually vegetal citrus.
