Russian Tea
Masque Milano Russian Tea smells like a struck match held a second too long, with bergamot laid over the top.

How it moves
Up top: bergamot, lemon and ginger. Enjoy them; they will not stay. By the half hour it has become black tea, tobacco and birch. The base is leather, vanilla and musk. That is the bit on your scarf the next morning.
What wearers say
4.1 out of 5 across 2,400 ratings — well loved, and not quietly.
Who made it
Julien Rasquinet composed it in 2015, for Masque Milano in Italy. Part of Masque's theatrical 'acts' concept, it recreates smoked Russian caravan tea served with lemon and jam in a samovar-warmed room.
