How it moves

It arrives on pink pepper, ginger, lime, lemon and bergamot — bright, immediate, gone before you have decided about it. Then the heart turns up — mango, passionfruit, blackcurrant, nectarine and pineapple — and the whole thing slows down. It dries down to amber, sandalwood, patchouli, vanilla, cedarwood and musk, close to the skin and hard to forget.
