Mugler A*Men Pure Coffee begins with coffee and bergamot, and does not apologise for either.
How it moves
It arrives on coffee and bergamot — bright, immediate, gone before you have decided about it. Then the heart turns up — coffee absolute and caramel — and the whole thing slows down. It dries down to patchouli, vanilla and Tonka Bean, close to the skin and hard to forget.
Who made it
Jacques Huclier composed it in 2008, for Mugler in France. The first of the A*Men 'Pure' limited editions, Pure Coffee amplified the base fragrance's coffee note into a near-espresso concentrate.
