Innocent
Picture custard on the edge of burning. That is the first ten seconds of Mugler Innocent.

How it moves
Up top: blackcurrant and blackberry. Enjoy them; they will not stay. Underneath, caramel, vanilla and jasmine settle in and take over. The base is musk, sandalwood and Tonka Bean. That is the bit on your scarf the next morning.
Who made it
Laurent Bruyere composed it in 1998, for Mugler in France. Launched in 1998 as a softer sibling to Angel, Innocent keeps the vanilla-caramel heart but drops most of the patchouli, making it the family's most approachable member.
