Brutus
Orto Parisi Brutus begins with ginger and spices, and does not apologise for either.

How it moves
It arrives on ginger and spices — bright, immediate, gone before you have decided about it. By the half hour it has become leather and patchouli. The base is musk, amber and woody notes. That is the bit on your scarf the next morning.
Who made it
Alessandro Gualtieri composed it in 2016, for Orto Parisi in Italy. Named for the archetype of brute force, Brutus is Orto Parisi's most aggressively animalic-woody composition.
