Salome
It starts on bergamot. It ends, hours later, on leather. Papillon Artisan Perfumes Salome is everything that happens in between.

How it moves
The first breath is bergamot, cumin and jasmine, and it is loud about it. By the half hour it has become rose, orange blossom and costus. The base is oakmoss, castoreum, hyraceum and leather. That is the bit on your scarf the next morning.
What wearers say
4.1 out of 5 across 2,200 ratings — well loved, and not quietly.
Who made it
Liz Moores composed it in 2014, for Papillon Artisan Perfumes in United Kingdom. Moores composed Salome in her Dorset home studio as a deliberately carnal chypre; it became the house's signature and a modern animalic benchmark.
