Daniela Andrier put bergamot at the front of Prada Luna Rossa Carbon Eau de Toilette and built everything else to hold it there.
How it moves
The first breath is bergamot, lavender and pepper, and it is loud about it. Then the heart turns up — coal accord and metallic notes — and the whole thing slows down. It dries down to patchouli, Ambroxan and cedar, close to the skin and hard to forget.
Who made it
Daniela Andrier composed it in 2017, for Prada in Italy. The 2017 Carbon flanker introduced a metallic mineral accord over coal and lavender that made it the line's breakout hit.
