Baque
Picture fruit cut open in a cold kitchen. That is the first ten seconds of Slumberhouse Baque.
How it moves
You meet blackcurrant at the door. Then the heart turns up — tobacco and clove — and the whole thing slows down. The base is labdanum, balsam and musk. That is the bit on your scarf the next morning.
Who made it
Josh Lobb composed it in 2011, for Slumberhouse in United States. An early Josh Lobb release built on cassis and tobacco, part of the small Portland house's first wave.
