Black Tonka

How it moves

It arrives on caramel, milk, nutmeg, cinnamon, tobacco, saffron and elemi — bright, immediate, gone before you have decided about it. Then the heart turns up — jasmine and mimosa — and the whole thing slows down. It dries down to sandalwood, tonka bean, vanilla, benzoin, amber, musk and patchouli, close to the skin and hard to forget.
