Tauer Perfumes Une Rose Chyprée begins with bergamot and lemon, and does not apologise for either.
How it moves
It arrives on bergamot, lemon and cinnamon — bright, immediate, gone before you have decided about it. Rose, jasmine and clove are where it actually lives. It dries down to labdanum, vanilla, oakmoss and patchouli, close to the skin and hard to forget.
Who made it
Andy Tauer composed it in 2009, for Tauer Perfumes in Switzerland. Tauer's modern chypre, built on rose, citrus and labdanum in place of the restricted oakmoss of the classics.
