It arrives on ylang ylang, aldehydes, blackberry, grapefruit, bergamot, apple, saffron and passionfruit — bright, immediate, gone before you have decided about it. The middle belongs to incense, jasmine, pink pepper, marigold, violet and rose. The base is ambroxan, cashmere wood, musk, cedarwood, ambergris, vanilla, leather and moss. That is the bit on your scarf the next morning.
