Maai
A bouquet the day before it wilts, then coriander. Bogue Profumo Maai has a sense of occasion.

How it moves
It arrives on aldehydes and coriander — bright, immediate, gone before you have decided about it. Underneath, tuberose, ylang-ylang and jasmine settle in and take over. What is left hours later is civet, castoreum, oakmoss and vetiver, and that is the part people follow you for.

Who made it
Antonio Gardoni composed it in 2014, for Bogue Profumo in Italy. Named after the Japanese martial-arts concept of distance, Maai is a deliberately retro animalic chypre laden with civet, castoreum and aldehydes.
