How it moves
Cardamom and grapefruit hit first, the way an opening line should. The middle belongs to incense, cinnamon and cypress. What is left hours later is labdanum, amber and musk, and that is the part people follow you for.
Who made it
Jérôme Epinette composed it in 2011, for Byredo in Sweden. Named for the Mumbai neighbourhood of Chembur, an incense composition warmed by cardamom and cinnamon.
