Jovoy Paris Gardez-Moi begins with bergamot and coconut, and does not apologise for either.
How it moves
It arrives on bergamot, coconut and green notes — bright, immediate, gone before you have decided about it. Then the heart turns up — tuberose, gardenia, jasmine and ylang-ylang — and the whole thing slows down. It dries down to vanilla, sandalwood, musk and benzoin, close to the skin and hard to forget.
Who made it
Amélie Bourgeois composed it in 2015, for Jovoy Paris in France. A lush tuberose and gardenia white floral with coconut and vanilla, unusually opulent for a modern release. The house's flagship feminine.
