It arrives on freesia, italian lemon, nectarine blossom and apple — bright, immediate, gone before you have decided about it. Then the heart turns up — marshmallow, strawberry, coconut and orange blossom — and the whole thing slows down. What is left hours later is whipped cream, sugar, vanilla, musk, raspberry and Ambroxan, and that is the part people follow you for.
