Black cherry, plum, saffron, pink pepper and cardamom hit first, the way an opening line should. Underneath, oud, leather, sandalwood, rose, tuberose and vetiver settle in and take over. By evening it is tobacco leaf, amber, vanilla sugar, tonka and musk, and it is better for it.
