You meet cardamom, coriander and grass oil at the door. Underneath, black hemlock, violet and jasmine settle in and take over. The base is vetiver, cedar, sandalwood, amber and musk. That is the bit on your scarf the next morning.

Geza Schoen composed it in 2002, for Ormonde Jayne in United Kingdom. The house's signature, built around black hemlock absolute, a note almost unused elsewhere in perfumery. It established Ormonde Jayne's identity as a dark British woody house.
