Ambre Topkapi
Bergamot, lavender, cinnamon — read like that it sounds simple. Parfums MDCI Ambre Topkapi is not.

How it moves
Bergamot and lavender hit first, the way an opening line should. By the half hour it has become cinnamon, carnation and geranium. The base is amber, labdanum, vanilla and musk. That is the bit on your scarf the next morning.
Who made it
Pierre Bourdon composed it in 2007, for Parfums MDCI in France. Claude Marchal commissioned Pierre Bourdon for this ambery-fougère referencing the Ottoman court.
