Hammam Bouquet
Penhaligon's Hammam Bouquet has been doing this since 1872, and nobody has done lavender better since.

How it moves
You meet lavender, bergamot and rose at the door. Then the heart turns up — rose, jasmine and orris — and the whole thing slows down. It dries down to sandalwood, musk, civet and amber, close to the skin and hard to forget.
Who made it
William Penhaligon composed it in 1872, for Penhaligon's in United Kingdom. The house's first fragrance, created by William Penhaligon in 1872 and inspired by the Turkish baths next to his Jermyn Street shop. Animalic and rose-heavy in the Victorian manner.
