Yves Saint Laurent Libre Intense begins with lavender and ginger, and does not apologise for either.
How it moves
It arrives on lavender, ginger and bergamot — bright, immediate, gone before you have decided about it. Then the heart turns up — orange blossom, jasmine and lavender — and the whole thing slows down. It dries down to vanilla, Tonka Bean, ambergris and musk, close to the skin and hard to forget.
Who made it
Anne Flipo, Carlos Benaïm composed it in 2020, for Yves Saint Laurent in France. A deeper, more gourmand version of Libre, adding orange blossom absolute and a vanilla-heavy base to the lavender signature.
