How it moves
Mandarin orange, peach and bergamot hit first, the way an opening line should. The middle belongs to jasmine, rose, magnolia and honeysuckle. The base is vanilla, sandalwood, vetiver and amber. That is the bit on your scarf the next morning.

Jacques Polge composed it in 1996, for Chanel in France. Built by Jacques Polge on six facets designed to read differently on each wearer, Allure was Chanel's mid-nineties bestseller.
