How it moves
The first breath is immortelle and elemi, and it is loud about it. Labdanum, cistus and olibanum are where it actually lives. It dries down to labdanum, amber and musk, close to the skin and hard to forget.
Who made it
Quentin Bisch composed it in 2015, for Etat Libre d'Orange in France. A minimalist labdanum-and-immortelle composition dedicated to the Marquis de Sade, unusually austere for the house. Quentin Bisch built it on very few materials.
