Putain des Palaces
It starts on rose. It ends, hours later, on vanilla. Etat Libre d'Orange Putain des Palaces is everything that happens in between.

How it moves
Rose, ginger and aldehydes hit first, the way an opening line should. Violet, lilac and leather are where it actually lives. By evening it is rice powder, musk, amber and vanilla, and it is better for it.
Who made it
Nathalie Feisthauer composed it in 2006, for Etat Libre d'Orange in France. Its name translates roughly as hotel whore, and the composition evokes face powder, violet and worn leather in a grand hotel room. One of the house's original provocations.
