M7 Oud Absolu
Smoke from a temple, then mandarin orange. Yves Saint Laurent M7 Oud Absolu has a sense of occasion.

How it moves
It arrives on bergamot and mandarin orange — bright, immediate, gone before you have decided about it. Then the heart turns up — agarwood (oud), vetiver and myrrh — and the whole thing slows down. What is left hours later is amber, musk and patchouli, and that is the part people follow you for.
Who made it
Jacques Cavallier composed it in 2011, for Yves Saint Laurent in France. Reissued as part of YSL's La Collection in 2011, this reformulation brought M7 back after years out of production.
