M7
It starts on bergamot. It ends, hours later, on mandrake. Yves Saint Laurent M7 is everything that happens in between.

How it moves
The first breath is bergamot, mandarin orange and rosemary, and it is loud about it. Agarwood (oud), vetiver and myrrh are where it actually lives. The base is amber, musk and mandrake. That is the bit on your scarf the next morning.
Who made it
Alberto Morillas, Jacques Cavallier composed it in 2002, for Yves Saint Laurent in France. Released in 2002 under Tom Ford's creative direction at YSL, M7 was the first mainstream Western fragrance built on oud and was commercially rejected before becoming a cult reference.
