How it moves
It arrives on bergamot, cardamom and mandarin orange — bright, immediate, gone before you have decided about it. Incense, iris and rose are where it actually lives. It dries down to vanilla, sandalwood, musk and cedar, close to the skin and hard to forget.
Who made it
Jacques Cavallier composed it in 2001, for Yves Saint Laurent in France. Released in 2001 and discontinued soon after, Nu built a following for its unusual pairing of cardamom, incense and vanilla.
