How it moves
The first breath is aldehydes, bergamot, peach and gardenia, and it is loud about it. Rose, iris, jasmine, geranium and ylang-ylang are where it actually lives. By evening it is sandalwood, oakmoss, vetiver, amber and musk, and it is better for it.
Who made it
Michel Hy composed it in 1971, for Yves Saint Laurent in France. A cool metallic aldehydic rose in a blue-and-black canister, named after YSL's ready-to-wear line and beloved for its steely elegance.
