Gardénia
Chanel Gardénia has been doing this since 1925, and nobody has done orange blossom better since.

How it moves
It arrives on orange blossom and aldehydes — bright, immediate, gone before you have decided about it. By the half hour it has become gardenia, tuberose and jasmine. It dries down to sandalwood, musk and vanilla, close to the skin and hard to forget.
Who made it
Ernest Beaux composed it in 1925, for Chanel in France. A 1925 Chanel classic reissued in Les Exclusifs, evoking the gardenia Coco Chanel wore pinned to her lapel.
