Égoïste
Jacques Polge put coriander at the front of Chanel Égoïste and built everything else to hold it there.

How it moves
The first breath is coriander, tangerine, mandarin orange and rosewood, and it is loud about it. By the half hour it has become rose, rosewood, carnation, cinnamon and ambrette. By evening it is sandalwood, vanilla, amber, benzoin and leather, and it is better for it.
Who made it
Jacques Polge composed it in 1990, for Chanel in France. Famous for its Cannes advertising campaign, Egoiste built a creamy sandalwood-rose around a spicy Bois Noir base.
