N°5 L'Eau
Picture a peel twisted over a glass. That is the first ten seconds of Chanel N°5 L'Eau.

How it moves
You meet lemon, orange, mandarin orange and aldehydes at the door. By the half hour it has become rose, jasmine and ylang-ylang. It dries down to cedar, vetiver and white musk, close to the skin and hard to forget.
Who made it
Olivier Polge composed it in 2016, for Chanel in France. Olivier Polge's transparent reinterpretation of No 5, stripping the aldehydes back and boosting citrus for a younger audience.
