How it moves
It arrives on cypress, aldehydes and pink pepper — bright, immediate, gone before you have decided about it. Vetiver, juniper and sandalwood are where it actually lives. By evening it is tobacco, Tonka Bean and olibanum, and it is better for it.
Who made it
Christopher Sheldrake, Jacques Polge composed it in 2008, for Chanel in France. A Les Exclusifs revival of a 1930 Chanel name, reworked into one of the most admired smoky vetivers in modern perfumery.
