Ange ou Démon
It starts on saffron. It ends, hours later, on musk. Givenchy Ange ou Démon is everything that happens in between.

How it moves
The first breath is saffron, thyme and mandarin orange, and it is loud about it. Then the heart turns up — lily, ylang-ylang and orchid — and the whole thing slows down. Last to go: vanilla, Tonka Bean, oak and musk.
Who made it
Olivier Cresp composed it in 2006, for Givenchy in France. Olivier Cresp and Bertrand Duchaufour's Ange ou Demon set saffron and thyme against a lily-vanilla heart, and became a mid-2000s cult favourite.
