Ysatis
Dominique Ropion put aldehydes at the front of Givenchy Ysatis and built everything else to hold it there.

How it moves
Aldehydes, mandarin orange, galbanum and coconut hit first, the way an opening line should. Tuberose, jasmine, ylang-ylang, iris and rose are where it actually lives. It dries down to sandalwood, vetiver, civet, amber, vanilla and oakmoss, close to the skin and hard to forget.
Who made it
Dominique Ropion composed it in 1984, for Givenchy in France. Dominique Ropion's Ysatis is a dense aldehydic floral-oriental with a large civet-sandalwood base, typical of the mid-1980s power feminine.
