Hot Couture
Givenchy Hot Couture has been doing this since 2000, and nobody has done raspberry better since.

How it moves
It arrives on raspberry, blackcurrant, bergamot and pink pepper — bright, immediate, gone before you have decided about it. Then the heart turns up — rose, jasmine, carnation and orris — and the whole thing slows down. The base is sandalwood, vanilla, musk and amber. That is the bit on your scarf the next morning.
Who made it
Sophie Labbé composed it in 2000, for Givenchy in France. A fruity-woody chypre built on raspberry, rose and a warm sandalwood-vanilla base, fronted by Liv Tyler at launch.
