Guerlain Homme Intense begins with lime and bergamot, and does not apologise for either.
How it moves
It arrives on lime, bergamot, mint and rum — bright, immediate, gone before you have decided about it. Underneath, geranium, rose, vetiver and patchouli settle in and take over. It dries down to vetiver, patchouli, cedar and amber, close to the skin and hard to forget.
Who made it
Thierry Wasser composed it in 2009, for Guerlain in France. A richer eau de parfum reading of the 2008 Guerlain Homme mojito accord, deepening the mint-lime opening with rum and darker woods.
