Up top: bergamot, pink pepper and rum. Enjoy them; they will not stay. Incense, ylang-ylang, rose and jasmine are where it actually lives. The base is vanilla, benzoin, cedar and Tonka Bean. That is the bit on your scarf the next morning.

Thierry Wasser composed it in 2007, for Guerlain in France. Thierry Wasser's rum-soaked vanilla is arguably the most celebrated modern Guerlain exclusive and the reference point for boozy vanilla in niche perfumery.
