How it moves
The first breath is bergamot, lemon, rosemary and almond, and it is loud about it. Almond, orange blossom and rose are where it actually lives. Last to go: Tonka Bean, leather, sandalwood, vetiver and vanilla.

Thierry Wasser composed it in 2014, for Guerlain in France. Thierry Wasser and Delphine Jelk built L'Homme Idéal around a bitter almond-amaretto accord over citrus and leather, launching Guerlain's most commercially successful modern masculine line.
